Up early today, a rainy hour-long drive to Montpellier for Vinisud. A massive, chaotic expo of around 1,600 winemakers from the south of France, complete with barcoded badges, detailed maps, and lots of freebies. First tasting with a promising new winemaker from St-Chinian. Retasted a few from this week's producers, found a Condrieu lead. Drove back to Châteauneuf, quick afternoon coffee. A quick and early dinner tonight - a very early morning TGV and flight home tomorrow. À bientôt.
