Gray and rainy. Started morning tasting in Minervois with a winemaker who refused to quote us a price and will blend his syrah and grenache as we see fit - delightfully simple wine. Two more tastings in the area with some potential - a very French lunch between. Lodged for tonight in a silent town between Montpellier and Béziers.
